The MCLA National Championship seedings were announced Sunday night, and the 11th seeded Florida State Seminoles will face the 6th seeded Michigan State Spartans in the First Round. The game will be played on Tuesday, May 17 at 7 p.m. (Mountain) at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Denver, Coloardo.
The Seminoles compiled a 19-1 record and earned an automatic bid to the National Championship by winning the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference. The Spartans compiled a 12-5 record an earned an at-large bid.
This will be the third all-time meeting between the schools. The Semioles won both previous contests, including an 8-5 victory last year in the Southern Shootout.
